Unity makes strength. CS Lewis wrote “The Screwtape Letters” where a senior demon advises a younger demon on how to divide Christians. He tells him get Christians to deal with “purely indifferent things” so we will be distracted from our calling to pursue Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:10 (ESV)
reminds all of us to, “agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.”
